BIM Conference

The event has an important role in addressing the future of profession within BETA, intending to provide, with the help of experts, an overview of how BIM technology can be used in projects, day-to-day practice, and challenges in implementation and use of this technology.

The first day is dedicated to a more theoretical part – the BIM conference – structured around a general presentation, followed by presentations held by technical specialists and free discussion constituting a preamble to the next day’s workshop.

Radu-Ionuț Boeriu

Boeriu Radu-Ionuţ is an Architect / BIM Manager registered in OAR and RIBA, having 10+ years of national and international experience in designing and executing projects in the BIM environment. The diversity of the projects includes both their scale (medium, large and very large projects), their type (airports, industrial, residential, mixed-use, hospitals etc.), as well as their character defined by the nature of the investors. Presently, he is BIM Manager at Foster + Partners, a world-renowned architectural company, responsible for establishing the design and implementation strategies for industry-specific standards and procedures.

Sebastian Ivan

UTCN Cluj, Construction and Installations Faculty graduate. Currently works as Project Manager – Ardeal, Crișana and Maramureș regions – in Xella, as well as Head of BIM Department since 2017. Has an 8 years experience in Xella and a 14 years experience in the romanian construction market.

Sabina Gackić

Sabina Gackić is a Structural Engineer, anx Autodesk Certified Professional (Revit Architecture 2015) and a Revit Structure Certified Professional. She joined Alu König Stahl d.o.o., BIH (International Technical Department ) as BIM Manager in December 2016, responsible for developing internal BIM knowledge and BIM support for all local Alukönigstahl units, BIM training of team members and all local Alukönigstahl organisation as well as for the creation of Revit families for non-standard solutions.
